I gave my life to Christ in the year 2000. I've had a burden to intercede for Lauren Hill ever since. When I see her in THEE Truth my spirit rejoices. I don't know the struggle that comes along with the fame but the Lord has trusted her with it. My prayer for Lauren is that God would give her a healthy love for herself. It's clear that she knows well that apart from Christ we can do nothing. She gets that our righteousness is like filthy rags. But does she know her worth. Lauren was purchased at a very high price by the Great I AM - the cost was the blood of the Lamb. Hallelujah
I understand that burden. Often, God will place certain people on my heart, whether on a one-off or through a season, to intercede with prayer and to encourage them. People go through life so abstractly, as if it is not ordered by God...but you never know when it was the mercy and grace of God interceding for you to save, deliver or keep you from something, because someone prayed for you somewhere in time. Prayer is a under-rated offensive weapon.
...imagine that Jesus always lives to make intercession for us. what a humbling truth. I can't wrap my mind around it.
"no servant is greater than his Master" Jesus washed feet, cooked fish, endured suffering, persecution, accusations, humility, THE CROSS....and still He forever lives to intercede for us WOW..... i guess that means we have a whole lot of praying to do :)
